Breathing can be regarded as the biggest symbol of life. It is said that as long as someone is breathing, they are alive. So, it is one of the basics of life and any obstruction in breathing can literally destroy our health condition and if there is any kind of obstruction in breathing then it surely is not a pleasant condition.

There is a complex Respiratory system in our body that completes the process of respiration and if there is a fault in any of the organs of our Respiratory System, then it is a given that we will suffer from one disease or another.

One of such deadly diseases is Asthma.

Asthma is a respiratory system disease that causes your airways to become very narrow and also it swells up the airway passages. Due to this medical condition it may produce extra mucus. This can make breathing difficult and the person starts to cough rigorously. In some conditions, a whistling sound  when you breathe out is also heard along with a very common indication of Asthma i.e shortness of breath.

The issue with Asthma is that some people might be Asthmatic but it absolutely has no negative impact on their lives and they can easily manage this disease. However, for a lot of such patients, Asthma can actually prove to be a major problem that interferes with daily activities and may lead to a life-threatening asthma attack or loss of breath.

  1. Adult-Onset Asthma.
  2. Allergic Asthma.
  3. Asthma-COPD Overlap.
  4. Non-allergic Asthma.
  5. Occupational Asthma.

The basic problem that asthma causes is the Airway blockage.

When we do the process of respiration under normal conditions, the bands of our muscles around the airways are relaxed, and air moves freely.

But when a person is having asthma, the muscles are tightened up and it becomes very hard for the person to breathe freely and easily.

The best way to deal with asthma is to learn to live with it and manage it according to the guidelines set up by your doctor. However, if you do not follow the guidelines then Asthma can destroy your lungs.

Hence, if someone is asthmatic, then they should avoid all the triggers that can cause an Asthma attack or can harm your respiratory system in one way or another.

One of the main issues that a person with Asthma has to face is that the airways of the person react to foreign particles in a different way than normal and these particles that can trigger your asthma are called Asthma triggered by the doctors.

Some of the commonly known Asthma triggers are as under.

  1. Sinusitis
  2. Cold
  3. Flu
  4. Mold
  5. Air pollution
  6. Tobacco smoke
  7. Exercise
  8. Cold Air
  9. Anxiety
  10. Depression

So, if someone is suffering from Asthma then all the person needs to do is to learn how to manage this disease and things will surely get better with time.

We wish you all the best and a healthy life ahead.
